SYNOPSIS
This class is for actors that are new to voiceover or that have been out of the voiceover for awhile. We are looking for people that have not taken many or any voiceover classes with us at the Voiceover Lab, as well. This class is a good way to reconnect to the genre and learn about documentary narration.
In this class participants will narrate scripts about interesting subjects and learn how to deliver voice performances that resonate with listeners, while telling a compelling story. We will analyze copy, read,, work on taking direction and integrating that direction into your performances.

REQUIREMENTS
This class is for voiceover beginners that are new to the craft and exploring what it has to offer. Also, it's for those that are returning to voiceover after a hiatus and looking for a supportive space to experiment a bit with voiceover acting.
If you have taken multiple classes with the Voiceover Lab, we encourage you to register for our non-beginner level Documentary Narration classes. We may remove people from the RSVP list, if they are deemed to not meet the criteria explained in the Requirements.
This is a small format class with a maximum capacity of 16 actors. Each actor on the RSVP list will be an active participant.
Be prepared upon arrival for class. We will email narration scripts to those on the RSVP list and those on the Waitlist (in case seats become available) on Thursday, December 5, 2024 between 3:00pm and 5:00pm (PT). The copy distribution time is subject to change.
Those on the Waitlist are not officially seated, but may be seated if someone on the RSVP list cancels. So be prepared, if moved to the RSVP list.
Copy will be provided by the Voiceover Lab.
