SYNOPSIS

You do not need to have a commercial demo to attend this class.  This class is educational and will provide important information about commercial Voiceover demos for actors at all levels.  Voiceover demos are to voiceover actors, what headshots are to on-camera actors.  They can help you get the attention of VO agents and managers, and can open the  doors to voiceover auditions and work opportunities. Demos are your calling card, resume and reel all in one. In addition to being essential for working with agents, demos are a marketing  tool and can be used to help you reach out to production companies and demonstrate your voiceover skills.

Anna produces voiceover demos and has ideas to share, so you can develop an ear-opening commercial demo demo or give your current demo a boost. Annas students have booked  over a million dollars in VO bookings around the world.

Commercial  VO demos are the focus of this class.  You will learn:

  • What makes a competitive commercial demo and how to structure it.
  • What copy to use for your commercial demo and where to find it.
  • How to avoid common mistakes with your demo.
  • Integrating your best reads into your demos.

Do you have a produced commercial demo and want some feedback? Anna will listen to several commercial demos from actors in the class.  Note: Due to time constraints, not all submitted commercial demos will be reviewed.
