Panelist Bios
Gabra Zackman is a New York City based actress, audiobook narrator and writer. She has performed off Broadway in regional theaters, several Shakespeare festivals and on TV as well as a handful of indie film roles. Gabra has recorded over 500 books to date in every major New York production house. She is the winner of multiple Audie awards (and multiple nominations), multiple Earphones awards, and an Odyssey award. Gabra calls herself a “multidisciplinary storyteller”. She is the published author of the Bod Squad Series (Simon and Schuster’s Pocket Books 2016), writer and co-producer of the Nice and Naughty and Love at the End of the World Series (Love Bytes Originals 2021, ongoing) and directed and co-produced the No Fear Shakespeare Series for Hachette. Gabra got her MFA at the Academy for Classical Acting at the Shakespeare Theater in DC and considers Shakespeare to be one of the great touchstones of her life.
Vikas Adam In addition to the over 500 genre hopping audiobooks he’s recorded, he's an actor, director, and faculty at the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television. He also records for Apple News and The New York Times Audio. Vikas has won the Audie Award (and is a 16 time nominee), a Voice Arts Award award, 25+ Earphones awards, is on several “Best of the Year” lists and is an inaugural inductee into the Audible Narrator Hall of Fame. Vikas is a founding faculty member for narrator.life, sits on the Sag Aftra audiobook steering committee, and is a founding board member for the Professional Audiobook Narrators Association.
Lori Prince is a New York City based actor and narrator with over 25 years of acting experience. Classically trained at Syracuse University, she has an extensive theater background from Off-Broadway to some of the Country’s top regional theaters. You can catch her in episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU and Are We There Yet? as well as in the scripted podcasts Out of Sight and Lifeafter. Having recorded nearly 250 audiobooks, she has become a go-to Sapphic Romance narrator with three Earphones Awards where Audiofile Magazine called her “the sound of love and everything that goes with happily ever afters”.
