Synopsis

Join award-winning voice talent and beloved teacher Carol Monda for an exploration of exercises designed to help you create authentic and engaging characters. Carol will present a three step technique to help you define a character and establish ownership of your creation in your performance. This technique is applicable to all areas of voice, stage and screen acting. This session is for all levels. It will be a lecture followed by a Q&A.

Requirements

Students will not read or receive feedback in this class. It is suggested that each student have a piece of copy with a point of view handy as they may want to experiment with the concepts being presented and work along with the  lecture while remaining on mute. 

Instructor Bio

Carol Monda is an award-winning actor, audiobook narrator and VO talent. Her voiceover clients include ID Discovery, McDonald’s, HSBC, The Guggenheim, NY Historical Society, the AFL-CIO, CitiCorp, WNET, NYCArts and many National and International Symphony Orchestras. Carol has been the voice of the Turner Classic Film Festival since its inception in 2010. She can be heard in promos, true crime dramas, documentaries and commercials. She's also recorded 450+ audiobooks in 17 genres . She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
