This class will include a Q&A with NY based Casting Director, Jessica Daniels, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will be assigned a scene prior to class to prepare and perform.

To be eligible to take this class, actors must have 4 co-stars or one guest star, recurring or lead in a major studio/network/streamer film or TV series. Equivalent theater credits may be considered. MFA graduates from select colleges and universities may be considered. Eligibility for this class will be determined by the resume on the actor's Casting Access profile. Please ensure your Casting Access profile is fully up to date as we will only consider the information contained within your profile. 

Performers' eligibility will be reviewed in the order they were added to the waitlist. Attendance will be confirmed via email if there space.

Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.


ABOUT JESSICA

Jessica Daniels is an Emmy and Artios award-winning casting director from New York City, specializing in television and film. Her TV credits include the upcoming Dying for Sex (FX), Single Drunk Female (20th Television), Deadbeat (Hulu/Artios Award), Helpsters (Apple), and 30 Rock (NBC/Emmy Award). She served as VP of Casting at Walt Disney Television Studios (2019–2023) and played a key role in casting acclaimed series like The Dropout (Hulu), The Mysterious Benedict Society (Disney+), and The People vs. O.J. Simpson (FX). Jessica's film credits feature award-winning titles such as Master (Sundance '22), The 40-Year-Old Version (Sundance '20/Artios Award), and The Miseducation of Cameron Post (Sundance '18 Grand Jury Prize). She is currently casting Season 3 of ABC's Will Trent. A member of the Television Academy, Film Independent, and the Casting Society, Jessica holds an MFA in Film from Columbia University's School of the Arts.


REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
