SYNOPSIS

This in-person class will include a Q&A with New York based Casting Director, Maribeth Fox, followed by a prepared reading session

Participating actors will be assigned a scene prior to class to prepare and perform.

To be eligible to take this class, actors must have 4 co-stars or one guest star, recurring or lead in a major studio/network/streamer film or TV series. Equivalent theater credits may be considered. MFA graduates from select colleges and universities may be considered. Eligibility for this class will be determined by the resume on the actor's Casting Access profile. Please ensure your Casting Access profile is fully up to date as we will only consider the information contained within your profile. 

Performers' eligibility will be reviewed in the order they were added to the waitlist. Attendance will be confirmed via email if there is space.

Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.

ABOUT MARIBETH

Maribeth Fox recently opened her own casting operation after 16 amazing years with Laura Rosenthal Casting. She has had the privilege of working alongside major talents like Todd Haynes, Paolo Sorrentino, Oren Moverman, Joachim Trier, Ed Burns, Mindy Kaling, Anton Corbijn, and Lisa Cholodenko.

Favorite credits include Olive Kitteridge and Mildred Pierce both for HBO, Jay-Z’s music video for Smile, Wonderstruck with Todd Haynes, A Quiet Place, and Bottoms, with the incredible Emma Seligman and Rachel Sennott. Two of her three films at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival broke sales records, Late Night and Brittany Runs A Marathon. Most recent credits include Sharper for Apple TV, directed by Benjamin Caron, Murder Mystery 2 with Happy Madison, and A Different Man from Killer Films and A24 (in theaters now).

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. 

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
