Synopsis
Join celebrated actor and voice talent Ben Giroux for a Zoom workshop that will explore how to handle an animation audition from the moment it is received in your inbox until you hit send on your MP3. In this ninety minute session, Ben will demonstrate his process by guiding three pre-selected actors from cold read to finished product. Along the way, Ben will share his inside tips & tricks on how to effectively break down copy, make specific creative choices, integrate improv, and authentically embody a character to deliver bookable animation auditions. This session will conclude with a lengthy Q&A period where everyone present will have the opportunity to ask questions and benefit from Ben’s decades of experience as a voice talent, content creator, actor, and director.
Important: This Saturday session will be a lecture and a demonstration with a Q&A. Participants will not read for the instructor.
