This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Professional Kim Marie Swanson, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will receive assigned self tape instructions via Breakdown Services/Eco-Cast.
Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation. Please read all Prepare details in your RSVP confirmation email, as self tape assignments and submissions will be different than our typical self tape classes.
BIO
The first three projects Kim completed casting for won Emmy Awards. Since then, she has cast more Emmy winning projects, People's Choice Award Winners, and multiple other awards and nominees. Kim has been responsible for International Feature Film Projects (the first of which earned “Best Movie”, “Best Actor”, and “Best Actress” awards in Beijing), casting worldwide with projects spoken in 8 different languages, several television series, music videos, national television commercials and print advertisements, having completed casting for more than 1000 projects. Most recently, she has been casting two new media series for Disney, a pilot project for Dr. Seuss, a faith-based feature film in Chicago, commercials for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Chubbies Swimwear, and Ronzoni Pasta and several others.
She was an instrumental part of creating and building the "Regional Casting Committee" within the CSA and also served as a two-term National Board Member, Kim is an active member of The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
