SYNOPSIS

In this workshop, we will focus on creating characters that are truthful, no matter how "cartoony" the show. We will work on how to identify the tone of the show, understand the text and explore your unique voice print to give life to a variety of different characters.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Michael D. Cohen started as a voice over actor in Vancouver dubbing anime. He landed the series regular role of Ty Archer in Nelvana's Grossology and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. Other credits include It's a Small World, Vampirina, The Adventures of Kid Danger, Glisten and the Merry Mission and more. Michael teaches acting at his Michael D. Cohen Acting Studio, as well as at the Groundlings, SAG-AFTRA and colleges around the country.
