SYNOPSIS

Step into your character with voice and body synergy. This session integrates Fitzmaurice techniques to bring depth, nuance, and emotional truth to your voiceover roles, from animation to commercial reads.


INSTRUCTOR BIO

Micha Espinosa

Micha Espinosa is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (B.F.A., Stephens College; M.F.A. Acting, U.C. San Diego). She is an international teaching artist and voice/acting/directing specialist in embodied theatre and performance pedagogies. Espinosa is the Artistic Director of Fitzmaurice Voicework® (FV®), a trainer for the FV® Teacher Certification program, and an award-winning editor of Monologues for Latino Actors, Scenes for Latinx Actors, and Latinx Actor Training. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA for over 35 years, she also served as a Board Member for the Arizona/Utah Local. Originally from Arizona, Espinosa brings a deep commitment to cross-cultural performance practices.

This class is virtual and will take place over Zoom.  The Join Details (Zoom link and other related information) will be emailed to those on the RSVP list no later than 1 hour before the start time of the class.

This is a large format class with potentially 100+ participants.

If there are readers (not guaranteed), there will be a limited number of them.

Attendees are expected to attend the entire program (see Duration above).

Class materials (if applicable) will be provided by the Voiceover Lab.
