SYNOPSIS
During this class, LA based Casting Director Maria Estrada will direct young performers, as they voice animation characters they choose from sides provided by Maria. This class will take place in the Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab inside the Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists.

REQUIREMENTS
Class participants must be between the ages of 9-13 years old.
Small group format with a maximum of 8 actors working with and reading for our instructor. The remaining 6 seats will be for auditors (auditors attend the class, but are not readers). If you would like to be considered for an RSVP and/or auditor seat, add your name to the Waitlist. We will notify actors of their status, as the class nears.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Maria Estrada
A native Diegan, Maria started taking dance classes and performing in countless musicals at San Diego Junior Theatre. Then on to USC’s School of Dramatic Arts, dancing in Parades at Disneyland, and on to New York City. Fate stepped in and she joined the animation community as a casting and voice director for the past 35 years. She was part of the team that started Universal Cartoon Studios and MGM Animation. Freelancing for the past 25 years, she is proud to have been part of the creative teams for Back To The Future, American Tail, The Pink Panther, Bubble Guppies, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Alice’s Wonderland Bakery, Robogobo, Kindergarten the Musical, and Playdate With Winnie the Pooh.
