SYNOPSIS
This in-person class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with New York based Casting Director, Angela Mickey.
Participating actors will choose, prepare, perform a scene from film or tv, two minutes in length or less. No monologues. Additional information will be sent upon confirmation.
ABOUT ANGELA
Angela Mickey is the Managing Director of Casting for Liz Lewis Casting Partners and has been at this powerhouse office for 25 years, casting on-camera commercials, V/O's, animation, TV, Film, and documentary-style projects. Recent commercial projects include Nissan, Tim Horton's, UberEats, Tillamook Cheddar, and Ad Council. Recent film/tv projects include Mystic Christmas, Martyr of Gowanus, Trivia at St Nick's, and The Legend of Lake Ronkonkoma. Scripted voice over work includes commercial projects such as We Love New York, NYU Langone, Wellstar, and Lipton, the animated shows Dee and Friends in Oz (Netflix), Get Rolling With Otis (AppleTV+) and Superkitties (Disney+), and the podcasts The Last City and This Job is History by Wondery.
