BIO:

Brittany Snow is a critically acclaimed actress, filmmaker, and advocate whose career spans bold studio blockbusters, intimate character dramas, and socially resonant storytelling. Known for her breakout role in NBC’s 'American Dreams' (2002-2005), her scene-stealing performance in the 'Pitch Perfect' franchise, and a culture-shifting break in 'The Hunting Wives,'  Snow has consistently brought depth, authenticity, and versatility to the screen. With a powerful lineup of upcoming work, Snow is cementing her status as a provocative, multidimensional force in front of and behind the camera.

With three major series releases in 2025, Snow’s reinforcing her status as a leading figure in modern storytelling. She can currently be seen starring in “The Hunting Wives” as ‘Sophie O’Neil’— a dark drama about obsession and murder among Texas socialites, based on award-winning author May Cobb’s novel. This Netflix series has recently been renewed for Season 2 with Brittany heading into production this Fall. 

Later this month she will be seen in Hulu’s limited true- crime series 'Murdaugh: Death in the Family,' where she takes on the role of real-life investigative journalist ‘Mandy Matney’ in the gripping real-life saga that captivated the nation.  The series also stars Patricia Arquette and Jason Clarke.

Soon after, Snow will also appear in a significant role in Netflix’s psychological thriller limited-series 'The Beast in Me,' from the producers of 'Homeland.'  Also in the series are Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys, and Snow’s character is yet another anticipated moment that will have viewers talking.

Snow made a striking entry into Netflix’s hit series 'The Night Agent' (January 2025) for Season 2 and was seen starring opposite Nick Jonas in 'The Good Half' (2024) from director Robert Schwartzman, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival before its US theatrical release. In this heartfelt dramedy, Snow plays an emotionally distant sibling navigating grief and family dynamics, anchoring the film’s intimate narrative.

Snow first gained national recognition for her role as ‘Meg Pryor’ in NBC’s critically acclaimed drama 'American Dreams' and transitioned seamlessly into film with string of standout roles in a string of major studio hits including Walt Disney Pictures’ 'The Pacifier' (2005), 20th Century Fox’ 'John Tucker Must Die' (2006), the Golden Globe-nominated musical 'Hairspray' (2007) -also nominated for its stellar ensemble by SAG and Critics Choice while winning the Palm Springs International Film Festival Ensemble Cast Award- and 'Prom Night' (2008), for which she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress.

From 2012-2017, Snow starred as ‘Chloe Beale’ in the 'Pitch Perfect' franchise for Universal Studios. The franchise was a global phenomenon that cemented Snow’s place in pop culture, earning the film, ensemble cast, and music with recognition from Teen Choice Awards, Peoples Choice Awards and MTV Movie Awards. Her film credits continued to expand with lead roles in 'Bushwick' (2017) which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and was featured at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight before being released theatrically, Netflix’s 'Someone Great' (2019) and A24’s acclaimed horror film 'X' (2022), directed by Ti West, for which she was recognized by numerous genre critics groups.

In 2023, Snow made her directorial debut with 'Parachute,' a deeply personal drama she also co-wrote and produced. With an impressive cast including Courtney Eaton, Thomas Mann, Scott Mescudi, Gina Rodriguez, Dave Bautista, and Joel McHale, the film premiered at SXSW to strong acclaim and earned the Thunderbird Rising Special Award, signaling her emergence as a bold new voice behind the camera. The film went on to be recognized at numerous festivals including the Dallas International Film Festival, Raindance, Denver International Film Festival and the Cleveland International Film Festival.

That same year, she starred in and produced the short film 'Red, White and Blue,' written and directed by Nazrin Chaoudhury. Portraying ‘Rachel’- an emotionally charged and thought-provoking role- as a hard- pressed single mother in Arkansas who must cross state lines to secure an urgent abortion for her preteen daughter. The film was nominated for Best Live Action Short Film at the 96th Annual Academy Awards (2024) and dubbed by The New York Times as a standout among the nominees.

Beyond the screen, Snow is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. She co-founded the Love is Louder movement with The Jed Foundation to address bullying, discrimination, and depression among young people. In 2020, she launched September Letters with her friend Jaspre Guest, a letter-writing project and mental health platform that expanded into an anthology book in 2023 titled September Letters: Finding Strength and Connection in Sharing Our Stores. The core purpose being to encourage open and empathetic dialogue around mental health. Her advocacy work earned her the Special Recognition Voice Award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and she remains an outspoken advocate for destigmatizing mental illness.

Snow has received additional honors for her advocacy work, including a Creative Coalition Mental Health Humanitarian Award, the Inspire a Difference Award from Glamour Magazine, and the Ally Award from the Human Rights Campaign. She also supports a broad range of causes and nonprofit organizations, including The Trevor Project, Feeding American, Habitat for Humanity, The Red Cross and The Art of Elysium. With her unwavering dedication to both her craft and her causes, Brittany Snow remains a powerful voice in entertainment and a force for meaningful change.
