Join us for a 90-minute Career Retrospective of actor America Ferrera, moderated by Clayton Davis, Variety. 

BIO:

America Ferrera is an Oscar®-nominated and Emmy®, Golden Globe® and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning actress, director, producer and activist. Most recently, Ferrera starred as ‘Gloria’ in the record-breaking 'Barbie,' for which she garnered an Academy Award nomination. Upcoming, she will star alongside Matthew McConaughey in Paul Greengrass’ 'The Lost Bus' for Apple TV+. The film, which is based on Lizzie Johnson’s novel, Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on September 5 to rave reviews and will release in theaters on September 19.

Additionally, Ferrera is set to voice a character in the English-language version of the French animated film, 'Arco.' NEON premiered the film at the Toronto Film Festival on September 7 and will release it in US theaters on November 14. Additionally, in 2026, Ferrera will lend her voice to Warner Bros. Animation’s 'The Cat in the Hat,' an animated adaptation of the classic 1957 Dr. Seuss book of the same name. Ferrera is beloved by audiences for her multiple iconic roles in 'Ugly Bett,' 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,' 'Superstore,' 'Real Women Have Curves' and 'How to Train Your Dragon.'  

A longtime activist, Ferrera co-founded Harness, a community of artists, influencers and grassroots leaders leveraging art and storytelling to power change, and co-leads Poderistas, a digital lifestyle community and non-profit organization, built to inspire, inform and affirm the Latina community. In May 2024, Ferrera was appointed as a Global Goodwill Ambassador for the UN’s International Organization for Migration (IOM), through which she will continue championing safe migration, women’s rights, and civic engagement.
