SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Katie Lantz, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.  

Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation.

BIO

Katie Lantz (she/her) is a casting director and associate casting director working primarily in TV and Film. She is currently based (and originally from) Los Angeles, and a proud graduate of the University of Michigan. She has 5 Artios nominations for her work on various productions and is currently wrapping season 2 of Netflix's live action production of Avatar the Last Airbender and prepping a few exciting projects shooting in 2025. Katie has had the opportunity to work in many amazing casting offices, with incredible mentors. Some favorite credits include "Survival of the Thickest" (Netflix, Felicia Fasano Casting), "A League of Their Own" (Amazon, Felicia Fasano Casting), "Better Things" (FX, Felicia Fasano Casting), "The Lovebirds" (McCarthy Abellera Casting) and "Downhill" (McCarthy Abellera Casting). Katie is a member of CSA and The Television Academy.
