Synopsis
Join accomplished voice actor and proud SAG-AFTRA member Ashley Adler for a fast-paced fun class designed to take your commercial reads to the next level. Each participant will have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art booth and receive individual feedback and direction from Ashley. There will also be time to answer industry related questions. Copy will be provided by the instructor prior to class time.
Format
This is a small group class where every participant will read. Participants will be sent copy a few days before class. Participants should arrive to class with either a device on which to work from or a printed version of the script.
Ashley Adler began her career in VO by booking her first commercial on her birthday. From that moment, she knew she’d be in for a good ride! Her voice can be heard in over 75 TV and radio commercials, as well as video games, animation, trailers, award shows, audiobooks, promos, dubbing, e-learning, and documentaries. She’s voice-matched over 25 celebrities in films, video games, toys, theme park rides and more. She’s been the voice of: Old Navy, Honda, Crest, Walgreens, Walt Disney World, Clorox, McDonald’s, Oreo, Walmart, Oprah Magazine, Verizon, AT&T U-Verse, Waste Management, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the NY Lottery (in Yiddish!), and many more. In addition to her work as an actor, Ashley is also a VO coach, director and demo producer. Other credits include The Witch on Hulu’s Solar Opposites, Marvel Studio’s What If…?, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears, Eliza in Final Fantasy: War of the Visions, Atlas Fallen, and dubbing the lead roles in two of Netflix’s top 10 projects- Glitter and Brick. Before she dove into VO, Ashley performed in Drama Desk nominated musicals and operettas Off Broadway. She is based in Manhattan, NYC.
