SYNOPSIS

Bill will work with actors on copy analysis, options for reads,  performance adjustments and re-voicing commercial scripts.  Through the process, actors will aim for better understanding of what potentially makes a read more "bookable."  

All levels of experience are welcome to attend this class.


INSTRUCTOR BIO

Bill Ratner

Bill is one of America's most-heard voice actors on movie trailers, TV programs, promos, documentaries, commercials, games, and cartoons.  He is the voice of “Flint" on G.I. Joe, Robot Chicken, and Family Guy. He is in the 20th season as narrator of “Air Disasters” on the Smithsonian Channel. Bill is a nine-time winner of The Moth StorySLAM, where his stories are featured on National Public Radio. Additionally, he serves on the Advisory Board of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab.


REQUIREMENTS

This class is virtual and will take place over Zoom.  The Join Details (Zoom link and other related information) will be emailed to those on the RSVP list no later than 1 hour before the start time of the class.

Voiceover Lab eligibility is not required to attend this class.

Attendees must be present for the entire class (see Duration above).

Reading materials for the class will be provided by the Voiceover Lab. and distributed prior to or during the class.
