This class will include a Q&A with New York based casting professional, Ilene Starger, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television. Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.

Ilene Starger is a casting director for film, theatre and television. She is also a producer and writer. She teaches and coaches actors.
Her film credits include: Custody (as Casting Director and Associate Producer); Good Friday; The Rewrite; Music & Lyrics; Two Weeks Notice; Night at the Museum (Artios Award); School of Rock (Artios Award); Sleepy Hollow; A Simple Plan; The Pink Panther; Pink Panther 2; The Parent Trap; Twilight; First Wives Club; Marvin’s Room; Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves; No Way Out; Three Men and a Little Lady.
Her television credits include: Witness to the Mob; The Great Gatsby; Earthly Possessions; Amy and Isabelle. She has worked on various theatre productions on Broadway, and in the West End.
She is a former Vice President of Casting for Walt Disney and Touchstone Pictures. She is a voting member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and is on its International Film Executive Committee.
