Synopsis

Voiceover is an art form! And there is a key to understanding how to deliver a SUCCESSFUL audition. In this class, industry powerhouse Sara Krieger will go over how to analyze a piece of copy (what are the copywriter and client trying to achieve?), how to break down the copy into “beats”, how to find your emotional point of view, and how to make a piece of copy personal, believable and conversational. Because most auditions are done remotely, Sara will also dig deeper into how to apply these techniques to self-direction for the most competitive read possible.

Requirements

This class will have a very limited number of seats for readers before it is marked 'full' and the waitlist is opened.  If you wish to audit the session (i.e. listen and ask questions  without the opportunity to read), please add your name to the waitlist. All members on the waitlist will be considered seated as auditors. If you do not wish to attend as an auditor, please refrain from putting your name on the waitlist. All participants must stay for the duration of the session.
