SYNOPSIS
This class is for all levels of voiceover talent. During this class actors of all levels with focus on the the fundamentals of voiceover, how voice actors do what we do, and why we do it! Actors will learn several tools to achieve solid performances in a variety of genres and build confidence in how to approach a script.
Prior to class, actors will receive commercial VO scripts and the opportunity to submit a self-recorded voiceover audition for review by our instructor. Selected submissions will be featured for live reads and feedback during class. Scripts and full submission instructions will be emailed 1–2 days before the class
Submitting an audition or reading live is voluntary and not a prerequisite to attend this class.
Not all audition submissions will be selected.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Nick Omana
Nick Omana has been making his living doing voice overs for over 30 years in Los Angeles. Nick’s talents have been heard on spots for Clorox, Dole, Excedrin, GMC Trucks, L.L. Bean, National Association of Realtors, Epson, Oregon State Lottery, Verizon Wireless and has done countless TV promos for CBS, FOX Cable Net. and the WB. He’s also voiced countless animated characters for Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Electronic Arts, & Blizzard Entertainment, to mention a few.
REQUIREMENTS
Voiceover Lab eligibility is not required to attend this class.
This class will be virtual.
