BIO:

Isa Briones stars as ‘Dr. Trinity Santos’ on the HBO Max hit series 'The Pitt,' for which she and her castmates recently won The Actor Award (formerly the SAG Award) for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.” Since the medical drama premiered, she has emerged as a breakout talent, drawing widespread acclaim for her portrayal of one of television’s most complex and compelling characters. Through her work on the series, Briones has helped advance meaningful Filipino-American representation in mainstream television, earning recognition for both her artistry and cultural impact. Following a record-shattering second season that surpassed one billion minutes viewed, the series was renewed for a third season, which is set to begin production soon.

Her additional television credits include the Disney+ series 'Goosebumps' and Paramount+’s 'Star Trek Picard' opposite Sir Patrick Stewart.

Beyond her success on screen, Briones has made a powerful mark on stage. Most recently, she starred in a limited engagement as ‘Connie Francis’ in the Tony-nominated Broadway musical 'Just In Time,' marking her return to Broadway since making her debut as ‘Eurydice’ in the Tony Award-winning 'Hadestown.' Additional theater credits include 'All Nighter,' produced by Ben Platt, the First National Tour of  'Hamilton,' and East West Players’ 'Next to Normal,' for which she received an Ovation Award for “Featured Actress in a Musical.”
