BIOS:
Emmy-nominated Casting Director, Josh Einsohn, CSA, started his career working in Production and made the move to Casting in 2001, which means he’s celebrating his 25th year working in a career he loves. He recently received an Emmy nomination for Paradise (HULU) which follows his first Emmy nomination last year for Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (Netflix). He has also received ten Artios Award nominations from The Casting Society for those projects and others including This Is Us, Atypical and Love, Victor. Some of his favorite shows where he served as an Associate Casting Director includes the first season of Mad Men (AMC) and the final three seasons of The West Wing (NBC). Josh attended St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas and then went to Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Drama.
Cathy Sandrich Gelfond is an independent Casting Director who has cast over 150 feature films and television shows, including The Fugitive, United 93, The Good Shepherd, The Proposal, The Adjustment Bureau, Bad Moms, The Pitt, Love & Death, Mayor of Kingstown, Hocus Pocus 2, and A Million Little Things.
Cathy has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2000. During her time as a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie, or Special for her work on The Normal Heart. She won an Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series for The Pitt, which also won four other Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series.
Cathy is a member of the Casting Society of America, where she has been nominated for 19 Artios Awards for excellence in casting and won for Smokin' Aces. She is also a member of the Casting Directors union steering committee and serves on the Board of Councilors for the USC School of Dramatic Arts. She is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley.
