SYNOPSIS
Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire) and Jaimie Alexander (Thor films) star in Blindspot, a one-hour action thriller from Berlanti Productions (The Flash, Arrow, Pan) and writer/executive producer Martin Gero (Stargate: Atlantis). Stapleton stars as hardedn FBI agent Kurt Weller, who is drawn into a complex conspiracy when a naked amnesiac, Jane Doe (Alexander), is found in Times Square covered in a series of cryptic tattoos…including his name on her back. As Weller and his teammates at the FBI begin to investigate the veritable treasure map that is Jane Doe’s tattoos, they are drawn into a high stakes underworld that twists and turns through a labyrinth of secrets and revelations – and the information they uncover might ultimately change the world.

Sullivan Stapleton - Actor 

Sullivan Stapleton plays Kurt Weller in the NBC drama Blindspot.

Stapleton is best known for playing the lead role in 300: Rise of an Empire, the second film in Zack Snyder's 300 franchise. Stapleton starred as Greek general Themistokles, who battled an invading army of Persians. The Australian native also stars in the Cinemax TV series Strike Back, which is now in its final season.

Next summer, Stapleton will play the lead role in the Luc Besson-directed feature The Lake. The story follows a group of Navy SEALs attempting to uncover an immense treasure hidden in a lake in war-torn Serbia.

Stapleton received international recognition in 2010 for his role in Animal Kingdom. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to garner numerous awards and accolades.

Stapleton has been working in the industry for more than a decade. Past film credits include the Ruben Fleischer-directed film Gangster Squad alongside Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, as well as Kill Me Three Times, Cut Snake, The Hunter and December Boys. Past TV credits include regular roles on Australia's hit shows Satisfaction and The Secret Life of Us.

Stapleton was the 2012 Australians in Film Awards' Breakthrough Actor recipient at the annual ceremony in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Stapleton splits his time off from filming between Australia and Los Angeles.
