Disturbing voices through the walls, a bizarre building manager, and an eccentric neighbor in love with Christmas descend upon him. When Sam finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time he's confronted with a past he never knew. Can Sam discover the secret that will unlock his future?
A taut psychological thriller and homage to Hitchcock, "The Little Death" is a carefully drawn web of manipulation, mistaken identity, madness, sex and murder.
"The Little Death" was specifically written to showcase the talents of the cast and crew within the confines of a limited budget and resources. Four lead actors, five locations, and an on-average crew of four shot for eight days to demonstrate the possibility and potential of people passionate about making movies.
A killer story, a crack crew, and hot performances make "The Little Death" more than just another funny, sexy, disturbing, scary, indie, Christmas thriller. Visit the official website at thelittledeathmovie.com
Morgan Nichols (director, producer)
Beginning at age 9, Morgan K. Nichols has directed over 25 movies, including the award-winning feature Jesus Freak, with exactly zero involvement from Hollywood. As a result, he is an excellent example of a post-Hollywood filmmaker, since his lack of interaction with the industry has not slowed him
down a bit.
Morgan has an MFA from USC Cinema, and has directed theater all around Los Angeles, where he has lived since leaving his beloved Maine. He is proud to have been a pioneer of the collaborative, improvisational Lo-Film method of instant filmmaking, a process which has yielded over 20 shorts. Morgan will undoubtably keep exploring the young art of cinema, with or without studio involvement, until he kicks the bucket.

An author, entrepeneur, and investor, Mr. Pulier is best known as a pioneer in the software and interactive media industries. The most successful and best-known venture capital groups in the world have financed companies that Mr. Pulier has founded or co-founded. A popular public speaker at major conferences around the globe, Pulier is most often found in Los Angeles with his four Children: Jake, Will, Chloe and Georgia.
He is a member of the board of directors for the Center for Telecommunications Management, Artist Direct, the Institute for Critical Information Infrastructure Protection, and the U.S. Beachhead of the New Zealand Government's Trade and Economics initiative.
Dave Danesh (cinematographer, producer)
Dave worked as cinematographer, editor and co-producer of Jesus Freak, and is the writer, director and editor of the short film "The Road Not Taken." He has shot and edited documentaries and corporate videos for the Jewish Federation of O.C., Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and Brandeis University. He is currently in pre-production as the creator of a five film documentary on how children are educated, called "The Effect of Education."
Laura Lee Bahr Screenwriter, actor
"The Little Death" marks Bahr's third produced work as screenwriter/actor with her first being UltraGirl, the story of a real comic book superheroine. Variety said of her starring role in her first feature, Jesus Freak," Bahr's gentle, nuanced performance... solidly anchors the film."
She has appeared in movies and television such as call me lulu, Lift, Zorgot, Unsolved Mysteries and can be seen as a bikini-clad clown-nun in the season premiere of Malcolm in the Middle. She won (and thus was not) "The Weakest Link" in 2002. She is a new member of The Eclectic Company Theatre.
Bahr is currently working on several indie projects and a master's thesis. She writes, sings vocals, hula-hoops and plays keyboard in the genre-busting rock band The Fish Wives. You can listen to her rap at www.thebeez.biz.
Chris Butler Sam James, Jr.

On stage, Butler is a veteran of Shakespeare with Oregon Shakespeare, Globe Theatre, Illinois Shakespeare and Shakespeare L.A. Butler has also starred in the national tour of "Blue," "A Raisin in the Sun" and "The Piano Lesson." Currently, he can be seen starring as Eugene in "Yellowman" at the Fountain Theatre, directed by Shirley Jo Finney. The Hollywood Reporter has called him "outstanding and compelling." G. Maximilian Zarou Detective Hal Gerard
G. Maximilian Zarou was born and raised in the City of Angels and attended Pomona College, where his performances in such diverse roles as Agamemnon in a Kabuki-style Greek tragedy and a hard-drinking chain-smoking Jesus Christ in a student film garnered him much praise from his immediate family.
It wasn't until he met director Morgan Nichols and bought his way into the Lo-Film community that his gift for unscripted comedy was fully exploited. An actor at heart since birth, Max's considerable talents are currently being wasted on his fifth grade students at Hoover Street Elementary in downtown L.A, who although they love his James Mason impression, are still confused about the finer points of decimal division.
