SYNOPSIS 
You know and love these iconic comedy legends from hilarious classics Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mightly Wind. Now, Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara are back as a once-wealthy couple who have lost their fortune and have to rough it with their family in tow, living out of a motel in Schitt’s Creek — a town they once bought as a joke.

Eugene Levy has appeared in more than 60 motion pictures to date, seven of which having topped the $100M mark. His box office success in films like Bringing Down The HouseCheaper By the Dozen 2 and Father Of The Bride Part II have established him as one of Hollywood’s most popular comedic actors. But it was the role of Jim’s Dad in the American Pie franchise that cemented his reputation as America’s favorite Dad.

Partnering with Christopher Guest, Levy earned critical acclaim for co-writing and co-starring in Best In ShowWaiting For GuffmanFor Your Consideration and A Mighty Wind. Levy has been nominated for and won countless awards including a Grammy Award and a New York Film Critics Circle Award for A Mighty Wind. He received a Golden Globe nomination for Best In Show and two Emmys for his writing on SCTV. His earlier films include SplashArmed and DangerousMultiplicityClub Paradise and Serendipity. His next major film role is the voice of Dory’s Dad in the Disney Pixar feature Finding Dory with Ellen DeGeneres.

In 2013, Levy formed Not A Real Company Productions (with his son Daniel Levy and principals Andrew Barnsley and Fred Levy) to produce Schitt’s Creek, a television series for Pop and CBC/ITV he co-created, co-executive produced and co-starred in with Daniel Levy.

O’Hara has collaborated with Christopher Guest and co-writer Eugene Levy four times on the critically acclaimed mockumentary films Waiting for GuffmanBest in ShowA Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration. Her performance in the latter won her the 2007 National Board of Review Award for Supporting Actress.

O'Hara has made many guest appearances on top-rated television series including Six Feet Under and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Her role in the HBO’s Temple Grandin earned her Primetime Emmy, Satellite and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.

O’Hara first performed with Toronto’s Second City Theatre and later, with fellow alumni including Eugene Levy, created the iconic sketch comedy show SCTV. O’Hara won an Emmy Award and earned four Emmy nominations for her writing on the show.

Daniel Levy began his television career as a co-host of MTV Canada’s flagship show MTV Live and later co-wrote, co-hosted, and co-produced the critically acclaimed ratings hit The After Show and its various incarnations including The Hills: The After Show and The City: Live After Show. Levy also wrote, produced and starred in his own Christmas Special for MTV, Dan Levy’s Holi-Do’s & Don’ts and co-hosted the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet,  the X-Factor pre-show and national coverage of the Vancouver Olympic Games for CTV. Levy’s acting roles include the Canadian TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation and the thriller Off Line. He made his film debut opposite Tina Fey in Admission.

Annie Murphy’s past projects have included Beauty & The BeastRookie BlueFlashpointGood GodThe Story of Jen, and Blue Mountain State. Murphy has also spent time on stages in Montreal and Toronto.  She was named an “amazing character actress” and “hilarious newcomer” by People.com.

Annie wrote, produced, and acted in The Plateaus, a CBC web series, which also features Elisha Cuthbert, Jay Baruchel, Sam Roberts and Kevin MacDonald of Kids in the Hall.

Murphy is a graduate of both the Canadian Film Centre Actors’ Conservatory and the Theatre Performance Program at Concordia University. She resides in Toronto, Ontario and was born in Ottawa.
