Reels are one of an actor's most important marketing materials. This panel of theatrical agents and associate casting directors will discuss best practices and current trends when it comes to reels.
PANELISTS BIOS
Darya Balyura, associate casting director
Darya just concluded being the Associate Casting Director at Deedee Bradley's office for the drama series SWITCHED AT BIRTH on the Freeform network. She has worked on projects such as the feature FREEZER with Dylan McDermott, VERONICA MARS the movie, ONE BIG HAPPY NBC comedy pilot, STITCHERS pilot, lifetime TV movie SEEDS OF YESTERDAY, and SYFY's BEING HUMAN TV series. She also works on a variety of her own projects such as shorts, music videos etc. Darya is affiliated with the teamsters union and The Casting Society of America.

Tanya Kleckner, theatrical agent, HRI Talent
Tanya hails from Cambridge, England. Having a well-known and prominent musician as a father, she grew up around many famed and celebrated artists. Her father's work with Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Shirley Bassey, Nina Simone, Billy Holiday, inspired Tanya to pursue music. The power packed combination of her ability to play many different instruments, hands on music industry knowledge and college degree in music, earned her a position as a sound engineer. Tanya worked in many British studios with amazing artists and legends including Led Zepplin, Tina Turner and The Who. Later, Tanya decided she wanted to explore other branches of entertainment and leapt at the opportunity to work at the BBC. She successfully worked as a producer of Children's TV shows but still felt that there was something more for her. Tanya realized that if she really wanted to know more about the entertainment industry she would have to move to Los Angeles. For twenty years tanya worked her way through the talent agency and management system and has been wildly successful. Along the way, she has earned a reputation as a "straight-shooter" and has accumulated a fiercely loyal clientele following. She has worked with such greats as, Kelsey Grammer, Edward James Olmos, Faye Dunaway, James Coburn and the Coppola family. Her talent has booked numerous series regulars, including recurring roles and pilots for HBO, ABC, NBC, FOX for show such as Constantine, Sin City Saints, Cedar Cove and NCIS: New Orleans.
Rachel Rose Oginsky, associate casting director
Originally from Michigan, Rachel started developing her entertainment skills in high school where she ran her own radio show, cable access show, and performed in a selective theatrical course. Rachel is also a college graduate of the film school at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She moved to LA in the Fall of 2006 and got her first industry job at a boutique talent agency shortly after. After working there for 3 years, she made the transition into casting. Rachel's first pilot was Suits for the USA Network. Her credits now include Fairly Legal (USA), Men at Work (TBS), State of Georgia (ABC Family), Scream Queens (FOX), and Masters of Sex (Showtime).
