SYNOPSIS
Actors bring stories to life, yet they often have little control over a final cut. Thus, there is a long tradition of performers taking the reigns of the creative process by developing their own projects and series. Presented in collaboration with the New York Television Festival, join us for a panel of TV decision-makers and actor/creators who will discuss how the actor's skill set is transferable to writing and production, and how projects can get noticed in a world of "peak" TV. The panel will identify specific strategies for effectively creating episodic content with a focus on the dos and donts for actors seeking to make their mark in the age of multi-hyphenates.
