SYNOPSIS
A theater director and actress by training, Janicza Bravo has nine short films under her belt (including the 2013 Sundance Jury Prize winning “Gregory Go Boom" starring Michael Cera). As described by IndieWire, Bravo's work "maintains an unnerving quality that feels like cringe-comedy but often takes a sharp turn into odd and alarming glimpses of angry, pathetic characters."
In honor of the debut of her first feature length film, Lemon, (one of the year's breakout buzz films from Sundance) we will screen some of the brazenly offbeat shorts that shaped this auteur’s utterly unique perspective.
Following the screenings will be a Q&A with Bravo moderated by actor and comedian Brett Gelman.
