INSTRUCTOR BIO
Debi Derryberry is one of Hollywood’s most active voice-over artists for over 25 years. Debi started acting at the age of 8 in local theatre. She has voiced hundreds of cartoon characters, but is best known for the voices of “Jimmy Neutron”, Speedy Alka Seltzer, Draculaura on Mattel’s Monster High, Taime on Guild Wars 2, Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo. Most recently, Debi voices Maureen, on Netflix’s “F is for Family” and Candy on Netflix’s “Glitter Force”.. Other work includes Trolls, Smurf’s Lost Village, Emoji Movie, Despicable Me 2, Wreck It Ralph, Toy Story 1 and II, The Grinder, iCarly, “Ice Age 2”, “Oswald the Octopus” and “The Lorax.”
Debi was honored with Backstage’s Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Voice Over Coach in Los Angeles-2015”, and also received Century City’s Chamber of Commerce “Woman of Achievement Award” 2002.
Debi has recently released her book, Voice-Over 101: How to Succeed as a Voice Actor, now available at Samuel French and Amazon.
