SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced agent.
Please prepare a monologue or scene from a TV show/film of two minutes in length or less. If you choose a scene, please bring a reader copy. If you choose a monologue, do not use Matt as your focal point.
AGENT INFO
Earning his degree in television production from the esteemed Roy H. Park School of Communication at Ithaca College, Matt entered into talent representation under the mentorship of the highly-respected veteran agent Tom Chasin, scion of Hollywood's renowned Chasin family and successor of the Chasin-Park-Citron agency. Within just over a year at Chasin, he was promoted and began establishing himself as an aggressive theatrical talent agent, later named to the industry's 2009 Young and Hungry list, comprised of young and rising agents, managers and creative executives.
In 2011, Matt joined The Talent House LA to work alongside Tracy Curtis, the daughter of Dan Curtis creator of the long-running soap opera Dark Shadows, Emmy nominated mini-series The Winds of War, & Emmy winning miniseries War & Remembrance. Together, he helped grow the company and in 2015, was elevated to President of the company. Throughout his time with THLA, he has been directly responsible for launching & proliferating the careers of numerous actors, including, most notably Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars 8), Stephen Farrelly aka WWE’s Sheamus O’Shaughnessy (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2), Vanessa Williams (NBC’s Days of Our Lives & Freeform’s Famous In Love), Adam Bartley (Longmire), Steven Silver (Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why), Marci Miller (NBC’s Days of Our Lives), Amanda Clayton (Tyler Perry’s If Loving You Is Wrong / boxer Vinny Pazienza bio-pic Bleed for This), Michael Welch (SyFy’s Z-Nation), Craig Frank (ABC’s Mixology / CW’s The Messengers), Brent Antonello (VH1’s Hit The Floor), Jason Dirden (OWN’s Greenleaf), Bryant Romo (Fox’s APB), and Ian Verdun (of the upcoming Freeform mermaid series Siren).
Matt recently joined Abrams Artists Agency this year and continues to aggressively cultivate an ever-growing talent roster. A native of Pennsylvania, Matt currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
