Pete Ohs, director, writer, producer, DP, editor
Pete is a four-time regional Emmy Award winner and was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Independent Film" for 2013. His experimental documentary, I SEND YOU THIS PLACE, premiered in 2012 at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival -- co-directed with artist and collaborator, Andrea Sisson. His music videos have been featured in the yearly “Best Of” lists by PITCHFORK— first in 2009 for WAVVES’ “No Hope Kids” and again in 2010 for BEST COAST’S “When I’m With You”. UK music magazine NME named the Best Coast music video one of the 50 best of 2010. EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IS FAR AWAY is his first narrative feature. It premiered at the 2017 LA Film Festival and won the U.S. Fiction Cinematography Award.
Andrea Sisson, co-director, producer, production designer, editor
Andrea is an interdisciplinary artist. She works in film, imagery, performance, writing, and conceptual art. She’s a J. WILLIAM FULBRIGHT SCHOLAR, a 2013 Filmmaker Magazine “25 New Face of Independent Film,” and has been shown at São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound and Palais de Tokyo Paris. In 2012, she co-directed the hybrid and experimental documentary I SEND YOU THIS PLACE -- garnering praise from the New York Times. Sisson has an undergraduate degree in conceptual fashion design and is currently attending graduate school for an MFA in contemporary studies and fine art at MICA.
Saul Germaine, producer, executive producer
Saul is a creative producer and the founder of MANALI. Germaine’s recent producing efforts include projects with Anton Corbijn, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Autumn de Wilde, Claire Cottrell, Grant Singer, Hiro Murai, Mark Romanek, Olivia Wilde, Tom McCarthy and others. He develops and produces narrative work as well as film for music and commercial broadcast. EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IS FAR AWAY is his first feature.
