Class will start with a group Q&A. Lisa will give general audition tips, business tips and educational information on how she feels is the best way for actors to approach auditions when they are auditioning, as well as how important it is for them to keep their resumes, etc. updated. Actors are encouraged to bring as many questions as possible. Lisa loves answering questions and giving actors insight to the business. Other topics included are headshots, the importance of being prepared, specifics on comedy, and the importance of honing cold reading skills.
After the Q&A, Lisa will pair actors up and provide scenes. The actors will have approximately 15 minutes to prepare, then everyone will perform in front of the group. Lisa will provide feedback and re-directs. And although she will not be taking the headshots, the actors should still bring them so she can provide feedback and comments on both pictures and resumes.
If any other questions come up through this portion, they will be answered as well.
