Accent reduction can improve your chances of booking voice-over and other acting jobs.
Learn techniques to eliminate regionalisms, reduce your foreign accent, and use General American speech.
Katina will demonstrate specifically what is required to change your accent, and learn about the sounds and rhythm of American speech. Resources for improving grammar and spoken English will also be discussed.
This is an interactive workshop which will include participation and a Q&A. A Resource List will be provided to each participant.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Katina Kalin is a private speech and voice coach in NYC and specializes in accent reduction.She gives workshops in Accent Reduction, Voice & Speech, and Public Speaking at various acting schools, law schools, CUNY and private companies. She is a member of VASTA, Voice & Speech Trainers Association.
Katina is also a leading voice-over artist based in New York City and has been the voice of many national network campaigns and hundreds of other commercial clients. She is a frequent audiobook narrator for Audible.com and for documentaries including National Geographic, A&E Biography, The History Channel, The Discovery Network, and The Hallmark Channel. A graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse, Katina brings her background and training as a theatre actress to her coaching and voice work. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
