CLASS FORMAT

This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Jason Crow, followed by a prepared self tape with live performance redirect work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare, record and submit a film or television self tape performance link for review in the class and receive feedback for an optional live performance. Additional preparation details will be sent via email with your RSVP confirmation.

ABOUT JASON

Casting director and entertainment educator with over 11 years of experience across television, film, documentaries and commercials. I regularly teach audition technique and casting workshops by invitation across Los Angeles at various studios, including SAG/AFTRA. I founded Soundworc, a full-scale recording studio in 2018 where I produce and audio engineer a range of music, podcasts, voiceover, ADR and audiobook projects. I’ve worked on Emmy-nominated television shows and recorded alongside Grammy winners and cultural icons.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
