CLASS SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Casting Professional Beth Lipari, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO

Since 2006, Lipari has worked as a Casting Director on scores of feature films, TV shows, and acclaimed theatre projects. She has been honored to work with award-winning directors, producers, and incredible talent in Los Angeles and worldwide. She is currently on a multitude of independent films and loves her job. She is the winner of 2 Artios Awards (Excellence in Casting), and a Media Access Award, which she was honored due to her casting of Deaf West Theatre’s LA and B’way production of Spring Awakening. She has had the honor of working most recently for the stage, with Center Theatre Group in collaboration with Deaf West (Green Day’s American Idiot), at the Geffen Playhouse (The Lonely Few, which just completed its NYC smash run), The Hollywood Bowl (Annie), and the Ahmanson Theatre (Grey Gardens) as well as numerous productions at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Lipari is a proud member of the Casting Society of America, BMI, and Teamsters Local Union 399. In her spare time, she composes music for film and dance.
