This class will include a Q&A with bi-coastal Casting Director Jamie Castro, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will prepare a scene assigned by the Casting Director several days before the class.
Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation.
BIO
Emmy Nominated Casting Director, Jamie Castro, has been casting for film and television for over 18 years. TV credits include Scandal, Station 19, Grey's Anatomy & Friday Night Lights to name a few. She received an Emmy nomination for her work on the Inventing Anna pilot and has been working with budding directors and filmmakers on indie features. Her most recent film, My Dead Friend Zoe, premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in March 2024 and won the Narrative Spotlight Audience Award.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by the cancellation date listed above. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a 90-day ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
