CLASS SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with NY based Casting Director, Jamibeth Margolis, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

Additional preparation details will be sent via email upon confirmation.

ABOUT JAMIBETH

JAMIBETH MARGOLIS Her previous casting credits include the Broadway and National Touring Companies of such hits as Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Cats, and Jane Eyre as well as two dozen other shows on Broadway.  She currently casts for Broadway, Off Broadway, National Touring Companies and shows for prominent regional theaters and all of the major theater festivals in NYC.  She is proud to cast for National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.  Her casting office is dedicated to the development of new plays and musicals.  Jamibeth cast HARMONY on Broadway last season and just completed casting and directing a new musical Off-Broadway called WINESDAY, and casting for Maine State Music Theatre as well as many readings, workshops, benefits and recordings of new musicals and plays for streaming platforms.
