SYNOPSIS
This in-person class will include a Q&A with New York based Casting Director, David Vaccari, followed by a prepared reading session
Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene assigned by the Casting Director prior to class.
ABOUT DAVID
David Vaccari is an independent casting director celebrating thirty years of working on film, television and theater and his film projects include “Respect” with Jennifer Hudson, “The Intern” with Robert DeNiro,
“Focus” with Will Smith, “Restless”, “Paranoid Park” and Finding Forrester with Gus Van Sant, “Rachel Getting Married” with Jonathan Demme, as well as “Friends With Kids”, “Howl”, "Keane", “Jonah Hex”, "Then She Found Me”, “Across the Universe”, “Ira and Abby”, "Carlito's Way: Rise to Power", “The Bone Collector” and “Pieces of April”, which garnered an Oscar nomination for Patricia Clarkson.
His current projects include the campaign for Coach which features Elle Fanning & Charles Melton as well as the short film, “His Last Interview”.
Having recently joined the Advisory Board of the North Fork TV Festival, his previous TV projects include, “This Is Us”, “I’m Dying Up Here", "Little America", "Penny Dreadful”, “Nightcap”, “A Gifted Man”, "House of Cards”, "NOS4A2" and "Time After Time” for director Marcos Siega and his theater projects include working with David Mamet for “GlenGarry GlenRoss” and “The Cryptogram”, Eric Bogosian for “Humpty Dumpty” and “Talk Radio”, Woody Allen for “A Second Hand Memory” and “Writer’s Block” and Estelle Parsons and Al Pacino for “Salome” as well as the original production of “Rent” with Jonathan Larson.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
