SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A with LA based casting director, Rick Messina and a prepared reading session.
Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene from film or tv. Sides will be assigned by the casting director ahead of class.
Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.
ABOUT RICK
Rick Messina currently works as a casting director on the on the Paramount + Series “Fatal Attraction” Starring Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan, Season 3 of the Amazon series “Upload" created by Greg Daniels and the Netflix limited series "True Story" starring Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes . He also works as an associate casting director on the Apple + series “Severance” (Season 1 & 2) directed by Ben Stiller, the Netflix feature "Red Notice" starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, the Amazon feature "The Tender Bar" starring Ben Affleck & the Apple + Feature “ Spirited” starring Ryan Reynolds & Will Ferrell. Upcoming projects include, the MGM feature "The Boys in the Boat", directed by George Clooney, the WB feature "Coyote V. Acme”, the Apple + feature “Wolfs” starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt the Netflix limited series “Griselda” starring Sofia Vergara and the Netflix limited series “Zero Day” starring Robert De Niro.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
