This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Cami Patton, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene that will be assigned by the casting director ahead of class.
ABOUT CAMI:
Cami Patton is a multiple Emmy and Artios award winning Casting Director, as well as a Producer. Her career highlights include JUSTIFIED/fx and THE AMERICANS (pilot)/fx for Graham Yost, ENLIGHTENED/hbo for Mike White, PUSHING DAISIES/abc for Bryan Fuller, THE UNITED STATES OF TARA/showtime for Diablo Cody, as well as PARENTHOOD/nbc and the recent AS WE SEE IT/amazon for Jason Katims. Alongside her former partner, Meg Liberman, her two Emmy awards were for the miniseries BAND OF BROTHERS/hbo and THE PACIFIC/hbo for Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and frequent collaborator Graham Yost. Cami is currently casting SILO for Graham Yost and Apple+. She recently wrapped casting and producing the limited series JUSTIFIED: CITY PRIMEVAL for FX. She also served as producer for the final two seasons of the original JUSTIFIED series.
Cami is extremely grateful to have had the good fortune to spend her adult life in the pursuit of talent, working with gifted artists in front of and behind the camera. She is even more grateful for her four grown kids and incredibly loving husband – all of whom supported (and continue to support) her along the journey.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
