This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Stacey Pianko, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO
Stacey Pianko is a seasoned casting director with a prolific career that began as an assistant on the iconic sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and quickly ascended to the Feature Film department at Disney/Touchstone Pictures during its golden era in the mid-90s. At Disney, Stacey helped cast major film and television projects, working alongside some of the most respected directors and producers in the industry.
As the Director of Casting at Disney Channel, she played a pivotal role in discovering and nurturing future stars, including Shia LaBeouf, Hilary Duff, Kat Dennings, Lindsay Lohan, Kat Graham, and Kaley Cuoco—many of whom launched their careers during Stacey's tenure.
Transitioning to the independent casting world, Stacey partnered with Orly Sitowitz, CSA, and together, they cast a variety of Independent Feature Films, pilots, and television series for major networks. Among her standout recent projects is Violet, which premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and earned an Artios Award nomination for casting. In addition, Stacey has a proven track record of successfully attaching names to independently financed films to trigger completing financing.
Stacey’s collaborations span across Hollywood's top creative minds, including visionary directors such as James Cameron, Ava DuVernay, Ed Zwick, and Adam Shankman, as well as top-tier producers like Jada Pinkett Smith and Jon Landau.
