This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Wayne Chang, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO

Wayne Chang is a bi-costal independent Casting Director. Projects "Daughter's Daughter" (Nominated for Asia's Golden Horse Award 2024), "The Architecture of Love" (Based on an  Indonesian Best Selling Novel),  "The Wandering Earth II" (Film of the year at 2023 Shanghai International Film Festival), “MODEL” and “WeAre Living Things” premiered at the 2020 Shanghai International Film Festival. Other Feature Film credits include: "In a New York Minute", LA & NY casting for "Finding Mr. Right," "Mojin-The Lost Legend," as well as additional casting for “Life of Pi." Short Films include: “Pulse” (2019 LA Film Festival Winner for best Director, Actress, Actor, and LGBTQ Film),  “Doorstep” (2019 Golden Door International Festival Selection), “If the Trees Could Talk “ (2015 Cannes Short Film Selection), and “The Wreck” (2014 Cannes Short Film Selection). Wayne also served as the US Casting Director for numerous Asia Television and Feature Film productions. Print, Commercial, and New Media campaign clients include:  Cadillac, Bank of America, Budweiser, ScentBird, Vivo Mobile, and Poseidon Apparel, etc.
