This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Catherine Stroud, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO
Lisa London and Catherine Stroud have been Casting Directors for over three decades and have cast over a 100 successful film and television shows. They have cast many notable actors and actresses early in their careers who have all gone on to become stars; such as Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana, Jonah Hill in Grandma’s Boy, Emma Stone, Katharine McPhee and Kat Dennings in The House Bunny, Selena Gomez in two Disney pilots, Jennifer Aniston in her first feature, Leprechaun, Mark Ruffalo in an episode of a CBS series, Due South, Brad Pitt in an episode of the series, Freddy’s Nightmares, Megan Hilty, Adrian R. Mante, Victoria Justice and Joey King in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Yara Shahidi in her first television series, The First Family, Noah Centineo in the Disney pilot, Growing Up and Down and Josh Gad in a wild comedy film, entitled Mardi Gras, Spring Break.
They have cast many genres of projects from comedies to dramas to thrillers to family friendly films and television shows. Lisa and Catherine have cast many movies for Adam Sandler’s company, Happy Madison Productions including the comedy classic, Grandma’s Boy and The House Bunny. They also work with many independent filmmakers helping them to get talent attached to their films to get them into production.
London/Stroud recently cast a number of exciting movies. Operation Taco Gary's (a very funny road-trip comedy) which stars an amazing comedic ensemble including Simon Rex, Dustin Milligan, Brenda Song, Tony Cavalero, Arturo Castro, Jason Biggs and the iconic, Doug Jones. Operation Taco Gary’s just premiered at the Austin Film Festival.
Boundary Waters (a coming-of-age drama that takes place in a small town) which stars Allison Miller, Bill Heck, Chris Jackson, the legendary Carol Kane and up and coming talented, young actor, Etienne Kellici. Boundary Waters just premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival. Guttermuckers (a wild comedy about a couple guys starting a roofing company). The movie stars, Jim Belushi, Leslie Jones, Bobby Lee and Lil Rel Howery and is in post-production. Mr. Manhattan stars Carlos and Alexa Pena Vega and the movie was #1 when it recently streamed on Great American Pureflix. The series, Destination Heaven also streamed on Great American Pureflix and was #1. Destination Heaven starred Harry Lennix as God and guest starred a wide variety of very talented actors each episode.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
