This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Casting Professional Kendra Castleberry, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television or from a small library of sides provided by Kendra.

Additional preparation details will be sent via email upon confirmation.


BIO

Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, KENDRA CASTLEBERRY has been working in casting for more than 20 years.  A TV, film and theatre enthusiast from a very young age, Kendra studied directing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before making the move to Los Angeles.  Past casting credits include CBS’s CSI: Vegas, Freeform’s The Watchful Eye, indie feature Peace in the Valley (2022 Tribeca Film Festival), Facebook Watch’s Limetown, ABC’s Take Two, CBS’s Zoo, NBC’s Grimm, ABC’s Castle, as well as numerous other series, pilots and TV movies.  Kendra’s other big passions are charity work (she is a big fundraiser for AIDS Walk Los Angeles and volunteers frequently around town) and political activism.  She is a proud member of the Casting Society and the Television Academy.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
