This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director David Guglielmo, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will prepare a scene assigned by the Casting Director several days before the class.

BIO

David Guglielmo is a filmmaker and casting director, specializing in independent films. As a casting director, he’s known for festival hits such as THE STANDOFF AT SPARROW CREEK (TIFF Premiere), RUN HIDE FIGHT (Venice Premiere), and SUITABLE FLESH (Tribeca Premiere).
He served as Head of Casting for the legendary horror brand FANGORIA, as they launched their first studio, and was inducted to the prestigious Casting Society of America. He recently completed his first series with THE PENDRAGON CYCLE.

Additionally, he’s directed three thrillers: NO WAY TO LIVE (2016), HOSPITALITY (2018), and most recently, LOVE BOMB (2024), which are all currently available on all VOD.

As a Producer, he just finished FRONTIER CRUCIBLE, a western starring Armie Hammer, Thomas Jane, and William H. Macy, and served as Executive Producer on the successful cop-thriller, MUZZLE, and its sequel, MUZZLE: CITY OF WOLVES, both starring Aaron Eckhart.

Other producing titles include the indie darling THE LAST STOP IN YUMA COUNTY and the upcoming gothic western, KILLING FAITH, starring Guy Pearce and Bill Pullman.
