This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Kara Olsavsky, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will prepare a scene assigned by the Casting Director several days before the class.

BIO

Kara Olsavsky has been working in casting since 2018. After receiving her Masters in Entertainment Industry Management from Carnegie Mellon, she began as an assistant for Rapaport Baldasare Casting on shows such as The Flash, Riverdale, Arrow, and Supergirl. Since then, she has worked as a Casting Associate on projects like Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Doom Patrol, and Riverdale. Kara is currently working for Jeanie Bacharach on the newest season of The Bear and Presumed Innocent.
