SYNOPSIS
This in-person class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director, Arlie Day, followed by a prepared reading session
Participating actors will be assigned a scene prior to class to prepare and perform.
Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.
ABOUT ARLIE
Arlie Day began her career in the entertainment industry in 2005 as an NBC Page in LA then quickly parlayed into casting from there. She works in tv and film on both comedy and drama. On the tv side, she’s worked on dozens of pilots and series, from BROTHERS & SISTERS (ABC) and ARE YOU THERE, CHELSEA? (NBC) to SEAL TEAM (CBS), DEAD INSIDE (CW) and GONE HOLLYWOOD (FX). Previous films include WHERE ARE YOU (Anthony Hopkins, Camille Rowe, Ray Nicholson, Madeline Brewer) and TO LESLIE (Andrea Riseborough, Allison Janney, Marc Maron, Stephen Root, Owen Teague, Andre Royo, Matt Lauria), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in 2023.
In early 2020, Arlie and her casting partner Mike Page formed Day & Page Casting.
