This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Professional Dana (Gaier) Ellis, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO

Dana (Gaier) Ellis has worked on projects across film, television and theater, including but not limited to Wicked (feature), Wicked: For Good (feature, upcoming), Monster(s): The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (Netflix), Monster: The Ed Gein Story (Netflix, upcoming), Dear Evan Hansen (feature & West Coast Casting for Broadway/Touring companies), Stew (Pasadena Playhouse), Cat Person (feature), Day Shift (feature), Shotgun Wedding (feature), The Wilds (Amazon Prime), and This is Us (NBC). Dana got her start in entertainment by lending her voice to the Despicable Me franchise as the role of “Edith” and quickly fell in love with the industry, finding her passion in casting. She is currently working for The Telsey Office as the Associate Casting Director on Ryan Murphy’s new series, The Shards for FX.
