This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Professional Byron Beane, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television. No theatre sides please.

BIO
Byron Beane is an international casting director, producer, and former talent manager with over fifteen years of experience in entertainment. His work spans across projects in the US, Australia, Europe, Mexico, as well as Central and Latin America.
Byron has worked with directors such as Robert Zemeckis, Eva Longoria, James Burrows, Michelle MacLaren, and most recently he was the Casting Director for GORDITA CHRONICLES (Sony/HBOMax), and for several independent and studio feature films. Byron firmly believes in the power of casting authentic and diverse talent across all platforms, whether it be for commercials, video games, podcasts, tv series, or feature films.
As a producer, Byron uses his expertise as a casting director to draw the right talent to the right project, a crucial building block for procuring financing and supporting the director’s vision. He believes in the power of collaboration in business as well as storytelling and fuses his passion for both to serve each project.
He current credits include feature films CHEAP AF (currently shooting in Seattle starring Arden Cho, Margaret Cho, Katherine McNamara and Alberto Rosende), PERDÍTA (starring Gabrielle Union, where he also serves as Executive Producer), with other projects in development.
