This class will include a Q&A with NY based casting professional, Marc Hirschfeld, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.
To be eligible to take this class, actors must have 4 co-stars or one guest star, recurring or lead in a major studio/network/streamer film or TV series. Equivalent theater credits may be considered. MFA graduates from select colleges and universities may be considered. Eligibility for this class will be determined by the resume on the actor's Casting Access profile. Please ensure your Casting Access profile is fully up to date as we will only consider the information contained within your profile.
Performers' eligibility will be reviewed in the order they were added to the waitlist. Attendance will be confirmed via email if there space.

ABOUT MARC
Marc Hirschfeld has been serving as Head of Talent and Casting for AMC Networks since 2015. He is founding partner of Hirschfeld/Flood Casting while also consulting for for Starz Media, eOne Entertainment, Gaumont International Television, Fremantle International Television, Snap Originals, Content Superba and CMT Network. Prior to that, Hirschfeld was named Executive Vice President, Casting, NBC Universal Television, and served in that capacity for almost a decade.
Hirschfeld received multiple Emmy nominations for casting the NBC comedy series "Seinfeld" and in 1998, won the Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries or a Movie for his work on "From the Earth to the Moon." He has also been recognized by his peers in the Casting Society of America with more than 46 nominations and eight Artios Award wins for outstanding achievements in comedy episodic, pilot and daytime casting, and became the recipient of the CSA’s highest honor, the Hoyt Bowers Award, in November 2007 in recognition of his body of work.
Hirschfeld was elected Co-Governor of the casting branch of the Television Academy in 2022. He maintains offices and residences in New York and Los Angeles.
